Pick your strongest frames
Up to five photographs, and one is fine. We are looking for a real moment rather than a tidy composition — light, gesture, something happening. At least 1920px on the long edge. If you send five, make them one set, not five unrelated days.
What tends to get through
- A genuine human moment, not a pose
- Light doing something — hard shadow, backlight, reflection
- A sense of where it is
- No watermark, no border, no heavy filter

Tell us who to credit
Your name as you want it printed, an email so we can reach you, your Instagram handle, and the city the photograph was made in.
What the form asks for
- Full name, spelled how you want it credited
- Email — used only to tell you the outcome
- Instagram handle, if you have one
- The city where you made the frame

Upload the files
JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC or TIFF, up to 20MB each. Send the largest version you have; we resize, you should not have to.

Optional, and the thing most people skip. A sentence about the moment is what lets us write about your photograph rather than around it.

You get a confirmation immediately. A person looks at every submission and we come back within 48 hours either way.

Things people ask
Phone photographs?
Yes. Several frames published here were made on a phone. The 1920px minimum is about printing and the feed, not about cameras.
What happens to my rights?
You keep copyright. By submitting you give Vietnam Streets a non-exclusive licence to show the photograph on this site, in Streets & Stories, on our Instagram, X and Facebook, and when we promote the community, including in press coverage, always with your name and handle. We do not sell or license photographs to anyone else, and if you ask us to take one down, we do. The terms say the same at greater length.
Why was mine not published?
Usually one of four reasons: the moment is posed or staged; the frame has a heavy filter, border or watermark; it is a landscape or a portrait session rather than street life; or it was not made in Vietnam. We reply either way, and you can submit again.
What gets published fastest
A single strong frame, a short line about what was happening, and the city. That is the whole form, and it takes about five minutes.
