By accessing or using our website, submitting photographs, registering for events, or subscribing to our newsletter, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

Content You Submit

When you submit photographs, profile information, or other content to Vietnam Streets, you retain full ownership of your work. However, by submitting content you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to:

  • Feature and publish your photographs on vietnamstreets.org, our newsletter, and associated community pages
  • Share on social media including Instagram, X (Twitter), Pinterest, and Facebook with credit to you
  • Use for promotion of the Vietnam Streets community, including in marketing materials and press coverage

We will always credit you by name and/or social media handle when featuring your work. You may request removal of your submitted content at any time by contacting us at [email protected].

Community Guidelines

Vietnam Streets is a photography community built on respect, authenticity, and a shared love of Vietnamese culture. When participating in our community, you agree to:

  • Submit only your own work — do not submit photographs taken by others without explicit permission
  • Respect your subjects — photographs should be taken ethically and with consideration for the people and places depicted
  • Be honest — provide accurate information about yourself, your location, and your work
  • No hate or harassment — content that promotes discrimination, harassment, or violence will be removed

We reserve the right to remove any content or suspend any user account that violates these guidelines, at our sole discretion.

Intellectual Property

All website design, branding, text content, code, and editorial materials on vietnamstreets.org are the property of Vietnam Streets and are protected by copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our website content without prior written permission.

Photographs featured on the site remain the intellectual property of their respective photographers. If you believe your copyrighted work has been used without authorization, please contact us at [email protected] with details of the infringement.

Affiliate Links & Recommendations

Some pages on vietnamstreets.org, including our Gear Guide, contain affiliate links. If you purchase through these links, Vietnam Streets may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.

All gear recommendations reflect what our community photographers actually use. We only recommend products that have earned genuine endorsement through real-world use in Vietnam. Affiliate relationships never influence which products we feature.

Events & Registrations

When you register for a Vietnam Streets event (photowalks, exhibitions, workshops), you agree to:

  • Provide accurate registration information
  • Follow event-specific rules and guidelines communicated by organizers
  • Allow Vietnam Streets to use photographs taken at the event for community and promotional purposes

Vietnam Streets is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage that may occur during community events. Participation is at your own risk.

Newsletter

By subscribing to our newsletter, you agree to receive periodic emails including photographer features, event announcements, and community updates. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link provided in every email.

Limitation of Liability

Vietnam Streets provides this website and all content on an "as is" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content, including gear recommendations, travel advice, or event information.
