01 — The work

Rooms that give up nothing quickly

Antonio di Vico photographs Hanoi from the inside out — doorways, workshops, the rooms a street photographer usually walks past. The frames are patient in a way that reads as deliberate rather than slow.

My aim is to document an authentic world beyond stereotypes and romanticized narratives.

02 — Who they are

Fifteen years, then 1,800 kilometres

Portrait of photographer Antonio di Vico

Antonio di Vico spent fifteen years doing communications for United Nations agencies, living in Australia, Thailand, Georgia, Germany and Austria while he did it. Then he stopped.

In 2023 he walked 1,800 kilometres across India, Dharamsala to Mumbai, sleeping rough much of the way. The photographs he makes now carry that pace — they are the work of someone who has learned to stay somewhere long enough for it to stop performing.
