Jack Ross

Founder & Curator

Jack Ross is a street photographer and the founder of Vietnam Streets, a curated photography community documenting Vietnamese street life, culture, and heritage. Based in Vietnam since 2019, he has spent five years photographing the country's streets — from Hanoi's Old Quarter to the floating markets of the Mekong Delta.

In 2022, Jack co-founded Vietnam Streets with Sam Derbyshire and Adrien Jean to create a single destination for the best street photography coming out of Vietnam. What started as an Instagram curation project has grown into a platform of 6,500+ photographers and enthusiasts worldwide, with comprehensive city guides, photo walks, a photographer directory, and an editorial newsletter.

Jack is the author of over 30 guides on Vietnam Streets, covering street photography technique, seasonal timing, gear recommendations, and cultural context for nine cities across the country. His work has been featured in Vietcetera and other Vietnamese media.
